What is an authoritarian system of government

In an authoritarian political system, control is held by a single ruler or small group.In other words, an authoritarian government has one person or a group to control politics.Authoritarianism is the oldest type of government in human history.[1] political scientists have created many typologies describing variations of authoritarian forms.Education, religion, the arts and sciences, and even morality and reproductive rights are controlled by totalitarian governments.

They may take power themselves or be installed by military or foreign powers.Legislative power (being able to make and edit laws), executive power (being able to execute the laws) and judicial power (being able to enforce the laws).Only that opinion is allowed to move in society as is deemed favorable for the authority of the ruling group or rulers.In a totalitarian society the ruling person or peoples are chosen with the absence of an alternative ruling option.Authoritarian government represents a fusion of state and society an entire social system in which politics profoundly affects the whole range of human activities and associations.

Both public and private matters are controlled by the ruling party and must adhere to their ruling ideology.It is a form of government where the power is concentrated between the leader or leaders of the country.This type of system may be under the command of a tyrant, an absolute monarch, military governments , an elite leader or a foreign economic power, which suppresses all human rights.By the same token, firms were supposed to provide lifelong job security to their workers and could not dismiss workers unless they broke the law.
